okay so i am really weird i guess because i only like having sex with my boyfriend when i am on top. he wants to be on top every once in a while...but it just feels so uncomfortable....

Has he done you from behind yet? Also known as "doggy style". its not unusual to not enjoy missionary. Most people think its the most boring of all the positions.
Try a couple of other things. Doggy style, reverse cowgirl, or if he really wants to be on top, have him pull you to the edge of the bed and have him stand while you lay on your back on the bed. It might change your mind about him being "on top".

alternate positions. makes things more interesting ;) you be on top for a little while, let him be on top for a little while, etc. or maybe try some newer positions. none come to my mind at the time, but alternating keeps the sex interesting and less....boring i guess? anyways, have fun and stay safe.
