Paycheck after quitting Hey guys. So not too long ago, I was hired by a well known company to work as a cashier. After the training, I decided I couldn't handle the job, so I decided to quit. I spoke to someone and told them, but they never told me about a paycheck. And since it was my first job, I wasn't aware of anything. Am I supposed to receive a check for the 2 days of training? If so, what should I do? It's been like a month since I told them I didn't want the job. I live in NY. Thanks in advance!

well if you were getting paid for the training it dose not matter how long you work there you should still get that money the only thing i can tell you on why it is taking so long is because a lot of company do a every 2 weeks you get paid witch when when you start there it can be 3 to 4 weeks before you see anything depending on when the pay day is so they just might not have got it send yet i would wait another week and if you don't see anything give them a call and say " hi this is ------ and am calling because i worked there for to day and never got my pay check i was told that i was getting paid for my training and that was the to day i work and have not received anything can you tell me whats going on" and they well let you no how long it will be and stuff but like i said if it was paid training you will get a paycheck they cant keep it you might have to go in and pick it up but that's it. good luck and hope everything works out cc ]
