19/f this is going to sound kind of dumb but what are some unique things i could do to my guitar to make it look like it's mine? I mean like what are some ways i could decorate it? It's an acoustic guitar, and i named it cinnamon lol i know its kind of cheesy, but just go along with it.

Let me give you an example; my friend had a plain black electric guitar. On the back of it he stuck a sticker with his band logo, since it went well with the guitar and had a personal meaning. Then he bought a bright pink, fluffy strap for his guitar. Why? Because that is his guitar, adds a unique touch and stands out considering he is in a death metal band.

I kid. Please don't put stickers on it or gems or glitter or shit like that. This isn't arts and crafts time at camp. It will look tacky if you do so. Just take good care of it, buy a strap, and actually learn to use the guitar. It'll feel more like yours when it responds to what you're trying to do. When that happens, you're not going to have to name it or ruin the aesthetics of it to make it feel like yours. [ Matt's advice column | Ask Matt A Question ]
