I like my best friend.
So me and my friend dylan have been friends for about a year and a half now, but during december-ish we started getting really close. Around november, he had a girlfriend an i had a boyfriend but that didn't really stop us from flirting and whatnot. About two weeks later (The same time....ish) we both got dumped. We talked to each other about it and stuff and eventually started hanging out all the time and walking to class together. We are now pretty much inseperable.
I noticed, however, that he calls most of his friends that are girls his "sisters". He doesn't call me that for some reason and it made me ponder. He calls me his "best friend" instead, which is what we are. About two months ago i decided i liked him, and started flirting with him constantly. He seemed to be flirting back, so i didn't stop. Now whenever we hang out we always hold hands and hug and stuff. When he's talking to me he always brushes his hand against mine. The other day we went to see a movie and he kept trying to hold my hand but chickened out. At the end though he ended up just going for it and grabbing my hand. We're always having tickling fights and stuff, but the thing that really bothers me is when he says "I love you."
He says this to everyone, but it's kind of weird that he would say it to me because if he liked me, which it really seems he does, then he wouldnt say it. I guess it could mean that he loves me as a best friend, but he says this to everyone.
The guys in school tease us and are like "Yo you two should hook up." and dylan will always be like "Dude she's my best friend." But he never says "Ew! Shes like a sister to me that's gross" Like he does when i mention his other friends that are girls.
The thing is, i have no idea if he likes me or not. Just when i think he does, he says "i love you" or something like that. I don't wanna weird him out by telling him, but if he likes me then i don't want to wait. I'm really confused about whether he likes me or not and i don't kno what to do, if i should tell him or not. Because if i tell him and he doesn't like me back, then shit will be really weird between us and i dont want tha to happen. But ever since he broke up with his last girlfriend he hasn't once called any other girl "hot" or said tha he liked anyone. And whenever i tease him about a girl liking him he goes "Oh god no!" or "Ewww"
Ugh.

This is exactly what happened to me, we both broke up with out boyfriend/girlfriends and we were already best friends we had been for about three years almost four. But anyways, I started liking him. and I decided to go for it. I didn't make it obvious...This is exactly what you should do
So text him and as him "What do you like about me?" If he says you're beautiful or amazing or something like that he has to like you at least a little.
If you get the hint that maybe he likes you if he says something like that. Tell him what you like about him, tell him he is an amazing person and you think he's cute. If he likes that just keep sending off stronger signals, only if he does too. If he doesn't then it's not a good idea.
Yeah, so just slowly increase those signals you're sending him. It'll work I hope! Tell me how things go :]
