Hi there
My boyfriend and I have been having sex with condoms, but we'd like to try a different form of contraceptive.
I was thinking of getting the Nuvaring.
We are Canadian. Is it possible to just go to a Walk-in Clinic and get a prescription?
I'm pretty unclear on the whole getting a prescription/renewing it, since I wouldn't be doing it with my mom. She's aware and accepting that I am sexually active, but birth control (paying for it) is my respondsibility.
Thank you for the help :)
However, I would seriously recommend anything but the Nuvaring. You know how they say that you "may" experience increased risk of infections? Change that to WILL experience NASTY infections. Honestly, I tried to love it, but that was not a pleasant experience. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
