EPT & ELM tests

Question Posted Monday April 12 2010, 9:15 pm

I took both my EPT (English Placement Test) and ELM (Entry-Level Mathematics Test.) Prior to taking this, I knew I didn't have to take the ELM because I'm in an AP Statistics course. But the university's website didn't say I was exempt. But I took it anyways, even if I was exempt from it. Anyways, I ended up getting a really bad score. The week after I took the website told me that I didn't need to take the ELM. Do you think they will look at my score and put me in a remedial math course, if I wasn't suppose to take the test anyways?

I dont think they will look at your score if you didnt really need to take they will probably only look at what you really needed but you should probably set up a meeting with the university counsellor or call in and get more information about it so you can be sure its probably the best way to go about it so that you know for sure. Hope i helped :D
