okay heres what i think you should do, talk to the guy first because you already told your friend how you felt about him and she asked him out.. even though she knew how you felt about him [which was totally wrong of her.]
if you talk to the guy, dont just tell him to not go out with the girl, or youll be called a homewrecker and such. just ask him how he feels and tell him that you want to be really honest.. after telling him that, maybe tell him how much you like him and that you care about him alot.
after you tell the guy this, see what he says, and then make sure your friend knows that you're talking to him. youre the bigger person here, always remember that.
from then on, just see how it goes and let it play out. if he likes your friend, wait it out. see if he changes his mind. but if he likes you, then yaaay :]
good luck ! have fun, hope i helped and if you need anything else, feel free to inbox me. xxo. [ itdependsonyoux3's advice column | Ask itdependsonyoux3 A Question ]

Obviously before you ask her to lay off ask the guy who he really likes and if he does like her then you need to move on because its really up to the guy at this point. Good Luck:D [ Katlyn's advice column | Ask Katlyn A Question ]
