Car Trouble I just got a new car yesterday. A 98 Nissan Sentra. I have no complaints, except for when I hit on the brake it sounds like part of the car is loose. It sounds like a chugging sound... or like something is clanking or vibrating.
It also does it when I put the car in park.
What could this be? Something with the exhaust pipe or muffler? My brother in law said it's nothing to do with the brakes since it happens when it's put in park too. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks.

i agree with trying to change your break pads first but it could also be your transmition going. which is VERY expensive to fix. that happened to my dads truck the vibrating and stuff.. also check your AB brakes. ]
Try changing the brake pads.
If this doesn't work check the muffler make sure its intact.
If this still doesn't work then ya need to have it looked at ]
