Does putting a tampon in hurt if you are a virgin?
ok, so I just recently started my period & i've been wearing pads but i'm reaaaally starting to get sick of them because I keep bleeding through.
so I was wandering, does putting a tampon in hurt? i've never had sex or anything so i'm really tight! and just the thought of something going in me freaks me out! so I need advice, because I really want to start wearing tampons.

Im not a girl, but i did see how a tampon works at a party, believe it or not!
they usually dont hurt, it's wool. It may feel wierd, and after all, your vagina can pass a baby, so surely a tampon can be easily inserted. However, heres a link:

tampons don't hurt at all it may feel wierd for about the first and second time you use them. But just make sure you change them every 4-8 hours or you can get a seriouse disease call tss (toxic shock snydrome) and you can die from this so just be careful. so try it its worth a shot you dont bleed through your underwear and you can also wear them to bed but you have to change them right before you do so. its way better than pads I swear.
