I asked about the ex bf having std question, so i have had sex with two men. and never been tested. how will i know which one had something or which one i got it from?
Anyway, if you are currently seeing someone, and if you think you MAY have a disease, get tested immediately. Any other course of action isn't fair to the person, and by not telling them, you are no better than the person who may have infected you.
If you ARE seeing someone, you should talk about it and go get tested together. If you two are going to be having sex, you have a right to know if he's healthy and he has a right to know if you're healthy. Drop by a free clinic. I'm pretty sure they don't charge for tests. If it turns out you all have the same STD, your doc may be able to find out a time you contracted it or tell you how far gone it is - this should help you pinpoint which guy you were with at the time. but if that's not available or there's no way of telling.. I'm afraid there's no way.. Unless of course all the guys didn't have it and just your ex did.. then you'd know it was him.
Did any of them have tests before sleeping with you? If there's proof of them being clean before having sex with you, it could help narrow it down.
I take it you had unprotected sex with each man - to prevent this happening in future and to stop future worry, please protect yourself and use condoms. STD's can KILL you. It's really not worth it.
Try not to worry though and don't base everything on the email you got. People are malicious and like spreading rumours and that's just what it could be.
Just get tested and if you do have something, there could be treatment and you'll be offered all the help with it. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]
