Period blood is Brown In Color

OK, I usually have aheavy period every month, but this month it is light and brown in color, What is this caused by Should i be worried? I am 20 and of course female

Well, if you've never noticed, blood turns brown after a while.

So if your blood is brown, that just means it's been in your body longer. Nothing to worry about.

you definitely dont have to be worried. its completely normal. the colors range from like deep brown, light brown, all the way to dark red and bright red. as long as it not a funky color like yellow or something, then you're completely normal :) and like the other person said below me... its old blood so dont be worried since you usually have a heavy period.

Normally when your period is brown in color it is last months blood. It just means that your period last month didnt quite finish so now your loosing the rest of it.

So basically, its old super dead blood.
