drug testing

Question Posted Monday February 15 2010, 10:32 pm

i'm on probation for six months and my probation officer said she's going to drug test me randomly during this time period. and i was wondering if the drug tests also screen for tobacco?

and if so, how long does it take tobacco to get out of your system?

thanks.

Tobacco can be detected in drug tests. It can even be detected in those new tests that they have out for parents to screen their kids. Luckily tobacco is not illegal and you shouldn't have anything to worry about...

To answer the second part of your question, tobacco stays in the blood for 6 - 8 hours and can stay in the urine for up to 30 days. It can stay in the hair for 3 months to a few years.
