The PAIN??
ok so i just got my braces put on yesterday, and may i say i am in PAIN!!! they didnt hurt the first day i got them but now my teeth are so sore and my lips are all cut. the wax has helped my lips from getting cut my teeth still hurt real bad. how long is it going to take for the pain to go away???

Ughhh .. braces are awfullll. BUT the pain should go away within the next few weeks, try taking advil or tylenol. Eat some ice cream too, even if it doesn't help your teeth maybe it'll make you feel better :)
Eventually when you go back to the orthodontist, he's going to tighten the braces again and they're going to hurt. Eventually you get used to it and the pain only lasts 2-4 days. I know it sucks but it's something you just gotta get through for it to get better. The end results are sooo worth it <3 I had braces for 4 years so I know it's no fun =/ if you have any other questions just let me know. :)

oh mann, braces were the worst. i know how you feel :/
the pain will vary from person to person, but it usually stays sore for about 2-4 days, and then you get used to it. but trust me, take advil or tylenol and youll feel soo much better.

dont worry, the first few days are always the worst, once they stop moving the pain will go away, you can take panadol (i did that to help me sleep better at night, works a charm!)
