Okay. My best friend won't answer her phone right now and I'm gonna do what this site is intended for- vent! I don't really feel like re-explaining the motive behind this question, so for any-one who's reading this and is confused, just read my first question and you'll understand. I have a little bit more than 9 months before I'm legal and can get my own prescription without a parent's consent. 9 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you dont know me, but I don't like pain in any form or fashion. And mental pain is one of those things that I've learned to despise because of what it brought me time and time again. Right now, I'm tired and I don't feel like fighting. I have no reason to feel depressed, and I know its only going to get worse. I can't let it ruin my life again- I need tips. Somebody tell me how to kill the time and still maintain sanity!!!!
Depression is something you should not wait until your legal to solve it. Depression can lead to a lot of bad things. I think you need to talk with your parents about going to counsling. sometimes you have to switch counslers a few times to find one you are comfortable in talking with. They can be very helpful in many ways of helping you and they will provide you with a prescription for depression. even your family doctor can prescribe you for depression. okay i just read what you commented on my rating, and i just thought i'd let you know, i know how depressed people tend to act. i suffer from clinical depression, too. which is why i thought i could answer your question. now this is me giving you an answer you could possibly use: when i'm in a really down mood, i usually make lists. lists of stories i could write, or song lyrics that i enjoy, favourite bands, foods, baby names, people i'd like to marry, celebs i wanna meet, other list names, things to do when i'm home alone, things to do when i'm sick and have to stay home from school, etc. this is good because it keeps your mind moving forward and since you have your mind on trying to come up with things for your lists, you're not thinking about whatever is bugging you. also, you could actually think of trying to do a few of those things. it helps me for those reasons, and also, it takes up a LOT of time. because every time i'm creating a list, i think of new things to put on a list, and the cycle just keeps going.
also, when you feel like crying, watch a really sad movie and get a bucket of your favourite icecream. it gets the emotional pain out of your mind, and thats healthy. and the icecream is a good touch. i hope i actually helped this time :) take care.
