sia answered Thursday January 14 2010, 3:47 am:
assuming that the valence electron came from rubidium you would be rubidium flouride

rubidium gives flourine an electron to make
rubidium flouride.
are you sure its flourine thats a valence electron?
k well i think this is the answer
Flourine doesnt give its valence electrons to robidium because it has 7 valence electrons, it would be easier for robidium to give its 1 valence electron to flourine making them both stable atoms and making rubidium floride
