The Beatles and Itunes

Question Posted Monday January 4 2010, 11:34 am

Why the heck are there no REAL Beatles songs on Itunes???? There are some that are sung by other people but not the Beatles. I only want the ones sung by the Beatles! So why isnt the best and most famous band in America on Itunes?!?!?!

They're from England.

As the link LM below me posted explains, there's a ton of legal issues with releasing the Beatles' music. Seeing as the Beatles are one of the greatest bands to ever exist, anything dealing with them brings in a great deal of money. There are so many players with rights to this money that things get extremely complicated when a new form of money-making comes into the picture.

I just like to believe this is The Beatles showing us then man will never bring them down.

Yes, iTunes is the man. It is part of Apple, which is part of corporate America.
