Hi, I was wondering.. if I want to delete an individual song from my ipod, can I just go and delete it from the playlist on itunes and then it will delete off my ipod? Or do I have to delete it a different way? Thanks
blacksXeroses answered Saturday December 19 2009, 7:12 pm: if you delete it then its gone off your itunes. but you should go to settings when you plug in you ipod and at the bottom theirs boxes options you check, so check the box that says something about only adding checked music then go to your music and uncheck whatever you dont want on there, that way you dont have it on your ipod but its still on you itunes. You know that "_whatever_name_here iPod"? that's where all your music is from your iPod is stored. Click on that and find the song in your list of songs and right click to delete it.
Just in case it didn't work, I'd still suggest to go to the song on your iPod and delete it from there too.
If you don't know how to delete the song from there, type in good, "How to delete a song from whatever_iPod_you_have?" [ isearchforwords's advice column | Ask isearchforwords A Question ]
