solidadvice4teens answered Wednesday December 9 2009, 11:23 pm:
You can find a professional photographer in the phone book who can show you their portfolio, talk to you about ideas and give you an estimate of what it will cost.

My advice is NOT to tell them its for acting or modeling portfolios because they'll drive the cost up and do unneeded shots and additional packages. Always have parents present at shoots and arranging things for safety and not getting taken to the cleaners.

If you feel pressured to decide find someone else. The phone book has tons of listings for photographers and portrait photographers as well. Visit them, see their work and arrange things.
