google and other seach engines are not working

whenever i google something it doesnt let me click on the link and it totally freezes and it does that with ever seach engine. so what can i do to fix that? is it a virus?

That could be a lot of things. Depending on how much memory the computer has, you could just have too many things running at once. Try closing all your other programs, or try turning the computer off and back on.

It could be a virus, or it could be spyware. For windows, this is a good free spyware remover:

for mac, it's less likely to be spyware or a virus, but you can always check with a program like macscan:
