when putting music on a ipod touch do you have to use itunes or can you just put music from your computer on to it ?

You need to use iTunes to be able to listen to the music on the iPod Touch, if you just drag the music files onto the iPod Touch without using iTunes, they won't play on the iPod.

Usually music from your computer imports itself straight to iTunes. If it doesn't you can always import CDs straight into iTunes. I hope that helps, though you probably already knew that. :D I hope it helps out.

you can do both to be honest but either way you would have to use itunes to transfer the music to the device up to you to be honest which ever way you find easier and i hope this helps.
