volunteering at my church tomorrow
hey i am a 18/f & tomorrow i start volunteering at this church where i will get to work with babies, kids who're 2 and up etc. well i've never taken care of a baby. i've held one, but i've never fed, changed a baby's diaper (i don't know how to do that). i am really nervous to even work with two year olds because i know its hard. please help me!! thanks

i have a little sister who is 2 and as long as you play with her shes fine.
most games she invents herself like shaking chalk in a cup (not lying) which she calls candles. no idea but when i do it with her it makes her happy. haha.
as long as you're making sure they arent hitting and sharing with each other you're good to go.
oh yeah, and they can understand you, so if you ask them what they are talking about or your say show me (cause sometimes i have no idea what they are talking about) you can figure it out.

Wow... It's alright you'll be fine, just pretend your taking care of a drunk person.
Make sure they don't fall so they don't cry.
Play with them any random game that involved making faces, they like that a lot and you can even make up a game just so you can make faces.
Give them anything that when you shake it makes noise , like car keys.
