excel question so i have to columns of data in excel that goes for like two pages. Is there a way to make it add the two columns of each row together in one step?

if you're trying to literally put the text together.. use
= CONCATENATE(A1,B1)
Otherwise.. for just adding the numeric value of them.. just do =A1+B1
When you paste it in other rows, it'll automatically update to show the contents of the cells in that row.
(CONCATENATE(A1,B1) becomes (CONCATENATE(A3,B3) when you place it in C3 instead of C1. ]
Highlight both columns that have your data plus the following column you want your answers to be in and hit the arithmetic button in the top right hand of the page. If that doesn't work, add the first row together, and then drag the little bold section in the right hand corner of the box with your answer in it all the way to the last row of data.
Hope that helps. :) ]
