find a graveyard online?

Question Posted Thursday November 12 2009, 3:17 pm

Ok so for a class, i'm supposed to collect 100 males and 100 females who have died in a specific century. All I need is the year of birth and the year of death. The thing is i'm scared of cemeteries and really dont want to go to one so i was wondering if there is any way i could do this online? I live in new jersey so if anyone knows anywhere i could find some sort of records for people who died in the 1900's then please share! or actually any record of births and deaths would be fine because im desperate right now. The best would be a lists of cemeteries in new jersey and the graves that are there, but i doubt anyone is going to know that.. Oh and its due tomorrow so i really hope this question gets posted tonight

Hi there,

Well believe it or not there is a great deal of research out there that will help you. Problem is there is a LOT of info... might not have wanted to wait to the last minute on this one. :-)

Okay, so what you are really after are genealogy records. If you had more time there are probably 2,000 sites covering what you are looking for in your area alone. Here are some very specific New Jersey genealogy websites:

Link to Camden county records:

... And here is a list of the other counties:

... which should give you everything you need. You will just have to dig through the records to find the ones that apply to your criteria.

Happy researching.
