Lonely_girl answered Friday November 6 2009, 6:14 pm: The amount of sugar in something can only be acounted by how much of the carbohydrates is sugar. If the grams of sugar is less than half of the grams of carbohydrates then it is okay. I am a type 1 diabetic and i learned this at the hospital. I don't think it will be though because it is very rare that yogurt has more that 20g of carbs. So i would consider buying a new brand of yogurt. The one i use is source fat free. It has about 80cal 5g of carbs and no more than 2g sugar. All yogurt will have some sugar because it is naturally occuring. This sugar is called Glucose Fructose and it is found mostly in fruit (that is why fruit juice has sucha high sugar content). This evil yogurt shouldn't have sabotaged your weight loss, but it would be more healthy to switch types. Make sure you look for fat free and always check the Nutrition fact panel. There is always hidden fat/sugar/calories in stuff, so beware. I dont know for sure but you should be losing 2-3 pounds a week in 2ish months you should lose about 16-20lbs. You will most likely not expieriance a large immediate weight loss because you aren't really over wieght. But it will happen for sure. Keep up with the good work! i wish you luck!
