19/female. i've known this guy for like .. 5 years now. i've always had a crush on him and i think he's an absolute babe ;) we call each other "best friends" just because thats what we call each other hahaa. basically, we are though. when we're alone .. its kind of awkward. if we're not flirting it's basically silent because i don't know what to say. then i'll randomly say something and feel dumb. when we're hanging out with a group of people i'm so quiet. i'm usually a crazy girl .. the wild one of my group of friends but not around him .. noooo! i'm the shy, quiet, never know what to say girl. and i can't look at him in the eyes .. i feel like if i look at him he'll be looking at all my imperfections i'm so insecure about. how can i just be myself around him? i always freeze up and never know what to say! :(

you should just tell him how you feel, he probably feels the same way but he is afraid that if he says somethin that it would change your guys' friendship. if you don't and you lose him as a friend or as a boyfriend then you will probably regret it
girls' point of view...
show him how you really are be yourself.
then maybe when you guys are alone you can laugh about the crazy times you had together.. from there it will open up so many other doors from what you guys could do next and that kind of stuff and not so quiet and make it feel awkward. you never no maybe he is thinking the opposite when he looks at you see's what nobody else can see. the great stuff about you .. just try [ AskFranckie's advice column | Ask AskFranckie A Question ]
