I think you should try and get to know her friends a bit first,
because if you start going out with her then she might ask you to go out with her friends and if you say no,
then she might think you don't like her friends and it might get a bit weird. Or she might feel like she has to choose between her boyfriend and her friends.
Just try and get to know her friends a little bit and if you feel scared invite one of your mates to come along with you.

I think you should go out with her and her friends a couple of times and then when the moment seems right, just do it. Ask her out. If she says no, then you can still be friends and maybe ask her out another time.

Good luck

hey, well i'm 15/f and i think maybe if your afraid to hang out with her AND her friends then maybe you should invite her and her friends plus your friends to go out to the mall, park, skating, etc. or you could just ask her out. maybe it wouldn't be so bad to go with her and her friends, show that you can be sentimental, and not afraid to hang out with girls, i mean, your a guy, and she's asking you to go hang with her and girls lol. but lastly, if you like the girl like you say you do, then she has to be worth it, and take the chance, dont hold back and be afraid..hope i help at least some =]
