Sex One Day Before Period/ pregnancy
I'm really hoping someone can help me out here. I've searched the internet, but it's hard to find an answer...
I just had sex with a pregnancy scare, and I'm supposed to get my period today or tomorrow. How will I know if I got pregnant or not? Will I miss this period? Or will I miss my next period? When is the earliest I can take a pregnancy test?

Hey girly! So sorry to hear about your pregnancy scare, maybe I can help you out. 1st Response pregnancy tests can determine if you are pregnant before your missed period, but I think you have to test three days after the sex. Other than that test, you will have to wait probably up to a week before you can test using others.
Now there are a few things that could be to your benifit here. Since you were so close to menstration, it is possible that you couldn't have concieved. That is, unless you don't have a fallopian tube malfunction or something.
These things happen a lot and there are many people out there that can help you. Even if you turn out not to be pregnant, as you said, its a scary thing. Don't be afraid to talk to a good friend, or counselor about your feelings.
Unfortunately, the best you can do now is just be patient. You will know in a few days. If you don't get your period by Thursday, I would test.
