Hi :-)
I am trying to make an advice blog but I just started and thus have absolutely no readers :-(
Anyways, does anyone know how I can get readers? Any tips on how to promote my blog for free?
Also, I read somewhere that I should add an RSS feed though I don't know what that is. Does anyone have any idea what kind of RSS feed I should add to my blog about adviced, aimed at young pre-teen, teen, and young adult females.

You should leave an interesting/complimentary comment on other people's blogs and sites on their comment section. Don't forget to add your blog link in the URL section. Add a link section on your blog that links to other people's blogs. Usually, people will return the favor and add you back, thus, bringing you more site traffic.
If you join any message boards, add your blog link to the signature portion so anytime you make a post in a thread, people can see it and will click on it.
There are various site directories and plugboards for people to put their links.
You can get your site reviewed:

You can add it to StumbleUpon.
You can add your blog link to the About Me: section here on your advice column on Advicenators! too.
Tell friends and family and plug your blog wherever possible. Even Facebook or Myspace, only if you're okay with letting them know you have one.
I'm not sure about RSS feeds, though. Hopefully someone else can answer your question about those.
