theres nothing to talk about.

Question Posted Sunday October 4 2009, 7:41 pm

my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 9 months. our conversations on the phone, text, and the computer are getting boring and pointless. theres nothing to talk about anymore. he barely contributes to the conversation and i'm always the conversation starter. i know we want to be together; in person, we're always doing one thing or another. its just that our conversations are so boring, and i just want to spice it up a bit.. i miss how it used to be awhile ago. any ideas? thanks a tonnnn, this would save a lot of fights, like right now, lol. (:

I can totally relate...my boyfriend and I went through a rough patch at one point. We've been together for almost a year and 7 months. Conversation can get really complicated because the "i love yous" & "i miss yous" can be the whole conversation. Well what I do is talk about current events or something in the news and get his idea on it. Or say something completely random...I talk to him like I would my best friend and he is my best friend anyway. We do all the "lovey dovey" stuff during the conversation as well and we talk about how our day was and such.

Good luck :)
