Question Posted Tuesday September 29 2009, 9:53 am
I am an aspiring model and singer. So far I have been told I have much potential, to not give up. That I will deffinately make it in the industry. I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to do so?
Also I have found some sites to help piblicise my work but I was wondering if you guys new of any other websites that would help get my name out for both singing and modeling.
I will rate very high! please and thanks.
It would mean so very much.
JustJessOx answered Tuesday September 29 2009, 5:17 pm: Hey there the best advice i can give you as regards your singing is believe it or not youtube!
you wont believe the amount of aspiriaring artists who have gotten deals from making themselves known through youtube.
if you uplaod videos of yourself singing and people comment and rate, before long if you publicise it right you have a huge fanbase check it out theres so many accounts on there of fabulous singers, you then go onto set up like a myspace fanpage etc.
so thats one option im not aware of any sites though what you could do is try get in touch with your nearest model agency? youl need to provide some headshots and full length photos and as far as i know it goes on interview basis you could get signed up :) I used to do it for a while when i was younger & thats how I did it so research agencies in your area,if your lucky enough then to land an agent who will help get you fashion shows and shoots etc :)
I hope I helped in anyway sorry thats all I really know and can tell you about it.
Much <3 & best of luck
Jess
