kids choking and pushing each other!

I was babysitting my niece and nephew for my mom and my nephew tried to choke my niece so my niece pushed him off of her my nephew is 6 and my niece is 8 if that helps any.

Give the six year old a time out and explain to him what he did wrong, tell the parents when they get home about it and how you resolved it.
