Grad Dress

Question Posted Tuesday September 22 2009, 9:04 pm

Hi,
I am a 17f. I am graduating this year (Yay!) and for grad, I am hoping to make my own dress. I have made dresses/clothing before and so I really want to make my grad dress. I want one that is red, sort of tight fitting at the top with poofy layers of fabric on the bottom. I love details, eyelets, laces, strings, accessories! If you know of a dress pattern or just a dress in general (It doesn't have to be red) that is fun, flirty, flowy, and cute... please share :D Thanks!

hi there, i make my own clothes as well, i made my first dress not to long ago, i wore it to picture day at my school and people commented on it left and right. the style is a bubble dress, there is elastic at the bottom so it suctions to your legs and flows over so it looks like a bubble. i love the style, i think it is very flirty and fun. go to youtube.com and look up 'how to make a bubble dress' that's what helped me! i wish you the best of luck!

All these are great but you dont have to make it to the exact way they look. like if you want a low neck you can make one. or change the colour.
Good luck and crongrats for graduating!
