here's how I imagine it: I've travelled back in time to the early 90's and I have to present the knowledge of future events to washington bigwigs in order to prevent them from happening. I call it the "terminator" scenario. put that fire under your ass, and you'll be on your way to binge drinking and all-night cram sessions.

LoveNJstyle answered Friday September 25 2009, 11:12 am: my first sentence was "have you ever seen an elephant in toe shoes?"
risky, but the rest of my essay had to do with me, an ex athlete, learning to dance ... etc.
just think about it and make it unique... what do you care about? what did you work hard at and enjoy?
also, you gotta sell yourself... tell them something that wasn't asked on the app. did you have a job? do you enjoy babysitting? what has it all taught you?

In my case, I wrote about my internship where I was the Student Athletic Trainer. I want to be a doctor and I wrote about how helping the players really gave me satisfaction and made me happy. When I had people read it, they always commented about how much it showed, my passion for becoming a doctor.
So I think that's the best thing you can do. Write from you heart. What is something that gets you going? What is your dream job and why is it so important for you to have that as a career? Is there something you want to change strongly?

Perhaps your essay could be titled:
"What Does It Take To Stand Out And Make A Difference In This World?"
What does it really take to stand out and ultimately to make a difference? Can these qualities be taught? If not, how can we learn to develop these qualities? Who is likely to succeed in this area? What role if any does our pre-existing educational system play in this? Does a model already exist? If not, can a model really be created?
When you write this essay, you will prove you have what it takes to stand out!
