a track mark is the mark that a needle leaves when it goes in a vein. they look like railroad tracks when you are dealing with a real dope-head.

As one who has seen them...they can also leave
small pock marks or dents, for lack of a better explanation, on the skin. This is especially true
if a drug user uses the inside of their arm.
Most people with track marks are very heavy IV
drug users. Unless your friend knows his girlfriend
is a heavy drug user, he should be very careful of
telling people she has track marks. It is very
unlikely for a young teen to have track marks.
