blackberry for verizon
is it possible to get a blackberry with verizon without getting the extra 30 dollars a month extra for internet? i dont really use or need internet when im away from the house.

It's called getting a regular phone you weirdo. What the fuck is the point of a Blackberry if you're NOT using the internet? That's like a deaf person asking about getting an iPod, or a cripple buying bowling shoes. Why waste the money on one of those if you're not going to use it for the primary reason you'd buy one?

I'm pretty sure its mandatory that you get the internet. When I tried to get the motorola Q from verizon they said I had to sign up for internet and didn't have a choice. A blackberry is pretty useless without internet anyway, you might as well get a regular phone.

Call your local verizon wireless vendor or stop by and they can set you up with a package just like you want. Almost nothing works on a blackberry without the internet so it would be fairly pointless, but I am sure they will do the package the way you want it.
