My best friend. [Please please read. ]
Best friends would be an understatement.
Alot has been going on between us, we knew eachohter when we wer younger, when i was inthe 7th grade, and he was in the 8th grade, but then we stopped talking for three years,and now wer always together, and now im in the 10th and hes in the 11th
Hes always asking about me [non stop] and if im not online hell tell my friend to call me, and if she cant reach me to , to reach my sister to reach me, anything just to talk to me, and he always wants to see me, and when wer together he holds my hands and looks me in the eye and tells me he loves me, and he hugs me so tight i cant even breath, he lost alot of things in life, and last time he wasi nlove with a girl, he never told her because he didnt wanna lose her, he was inlove with her when we first met, but these days he told me he was over since he met me cause he stopped thinking about her ever since, and also whenever i talk to other boys, hes like tell him to back the fu%% off, and will like scare them away, or get mad at me if i talk about another boy and be all mean to me, im definetly not going to make the first move, no matter waht anyone says haha cause it wud be too akward and hes like my best friend you know, but i just want to know, what do you guys think of this?
boys is it normal to hold ur best friends hands, get jealous,tell her you love her and all that?
please someone explain this to me cause im mad confused, i really appreciate whoever read this , thank u in advance :)

i have a friend just like this he dated my sister though and he tells me he loves me and shit but we have never had a sexual relationship. he will do anything for me,and what you need to do it make the first move!!! it wont be akward he is just afraid of you rejecting him cuz you have been friends for so long he would think you don't like him like that but trust me make the first move. start calling em an texting him tell him how you feel and he will be the only guy that treats you with respect ... and i have been through A LOT with one guy and it took me 7 years to relize the one that truely loved me was the one i never notice cuz he was my friend.

He sounds like he really wants to be with you, but maybe doesn't want to lose you as a friend, it may be awkward for him to ask you since you guys are so close, or he is shy. A guy who wants to communicate with you alot, asks about you, hugs you tight, holds your hand, and looks you in the eye, is a guy who is giving you all the signs that he loves you.
It sounds as if he is very protective of you, but you should tell him that if he wants to be with you, then he has to let you keep your other guy friends, lay off a little, and let you talk a little about them when hes around because you need your guy friends the same as he does. He needs to respect you and your friends.
If you do date him and he has problems with you communicating with other guys, reassure him that you will always have many guy friends, but he will always be your *special* boyfriend. Treat him different then the rest and let him know hes the only one on your mind. If he still is over protective, you may have to tell him its not working out, because you should be able to keep all your old friends while still having a boyfriend. He has to know 'you gotta give a little to get a little'.
It is completely alright for you to make the first move, but if you don't feel it is right or it would be awkward, then you can hint to him that you would like to be together :)
I am not a guy, but in my opinion, it is normal to hold hands, get jealous, and tell her you love her, when you are a couple ;)

Well i'm not a dude but i gotta say.. thats definitely not what a regular best guy friend would do! He seems to either really like you or is being over-protective of you. The whole calling thing, to me seems like he really likes you or is just really confused and thinks he likes you because you're so close! Best thing to do is remind him every once in awhile that your BEST friends and nothing more-if you don't like him in that way. (example : i love you like a brother,*insert name here* ! :D ) That way it isn't being mean but its letting him know you don't like him in that way(no incest here XD!). Oh and also, if you like a guy and he scares them away- tell him you really like that guy and he has nothing to worry about,but thank him for his concern. If it gets too out of hand though i'd talk to him seriously about it-let him know you're just friends.
