Being too tight

Question Posted Tuesday September 8 2009, 4:33 pm

I am a virgin and not by choice. I'm 17 years old, almost 18 and I can not have sex. I am extremely tight down there. When a guy fingers me or I finger myself, I can only fit one finger in. When a guy does it, it kinda hurts since his finger is bigger than mine. I've tried having sex but it won't fit at all. It even hurts him. I can't even get two fingers in. Is there something wrong with me? What should I do?

Hey,
There is nothing wrong with you at all! All women are different shapes and sizes, you will never get one the exact same!
I remember personally, I had the same problem. I had a burning sensation anytime I tried to insert anything inside, even if it was a really small finger. What I decided to do was use something really small, that had been thoroughly cleansed. Try perhaphs a pen, even though it is really small doing it gradually will help "break you in" as they say for lack off a better term. And if you have the option, lube it up. There are household things you can use as lube, just make sure it is safe before-hand.
There are things you can get fro your doctor, "inserts" they are called. It's like small objects that are fit and for the sole purpose of making the vagina wider. A lot of people have the problem with a vagina that is too wide, it's not common for a woman to have a vagina that is to tight, so trying to solve the problem can be a little harder.
A vagina will stretch over time. So weither you wait, or try one of the recommended options I gave you it will get to be the size you wish. Just remember, that anytime you insert something inside you. No matter what the size, it is important to be relaxed. If you are tensed, your muscles tense making your vagina muscles tense causing them to be even more tighter. So once relaxed, prop yourself up with a pillow underneath your bottom to enable it to loosen naturally whilst you do your thing.

I hope this helps, if you have any more questions then Ask Sophie!

There is nothing wrong with you. First of all, every girl is made different. Some are wide-set, while others (like you) are tight-set. That doesn't mean you cannot have sex, it just means it may be a little more difficult for you then someone else.

When you have sex, you must be completely relaxed. If you are even a little tense, most likely you won't be able to get anything up there. So completely relax yourself, and make sure you are well lubricated. If need be, buy some. A little bottle is cheap, so it would be about the same as buying a box of condoms.

That should solve your problem.
