I'm a Jr in HS. A sophomore asked me to homecoming. He's a good friend but I want a Jr to ask me out. How do I gently turn him down?

Well, first of all, just because he is a sophomore, doesn't mean he isn't as good as a junior hahaa. but okay :] if you want to turn him down gentlyy here are some options as to what you can say...

- "You're a really sweet guy, but I like you as a friend, I'm really sorry. I know you'll find a girl who would love to go with such a great guy like you :]"

- "I really appreciate you asking me to go with you to homecoming, but I'm kind of crushing on this guy right now and I wouldn't want to lead a great guy like you on. I'm really sorry."

You just have to be nice about it, and boost his confidence by saying he's a great guy and that any girl would be lucky to go wit him, and all that jazz. It's not the end of the world :] haha trust me, he won't be mad at you.
Good luck ! Have fun ! hope i helped :] xxo.
