limewire at start up

Question Posted Friday September 4 2009, 5:35 pm

I just recently downloaded the new version of limewire. Well, it starts up when I turn on my computer and it takes forever for me to go on the internet or to do anything. How can I change it so it won't start up when I turn on log on to my computer Thanks in advance !

Click on your limewire application and go into "Settings" and there will be a box you need to uncheck titled, "Run At Startup."

Go to start -> run (or press WinKey+R). Type:
msconfig
Press enter. Go to the "startup" tab. Uncheck limewire.exe and everything else you don't need to start with Windows (you can't break anything in this tab). Click OK.
