Natural Coincidences?
Is it a coincidence that the cycle of the full moon and a woman's reproductive cycle are both 28 days? Do any other natural occurrences happen every 28 days?

I've never noticed that, but i'm sure there are some other natural occurrences that happen every 28 days as well. I suggest you go to yahooanswers.com they always have great answers about things like that. Oh, and you could askjeeves or google search it. Hope i helped. :)

I can't think of any answers on that, though I can tell you that the word "menstrual" relates to the word "moon" as does the word "month." Some speculate it has to do with the moon's gravity, like tides, but I really don't think that is it. Now you have me curious though . . . I may have to look for more information.

Hmm.. it is kind of like one of those 'lifes mysteries'. I believe it may be the only natural occurances like this.. I cannot seem to find any other occurances. This is an interesting question.
You know what though? First Nation's People, they call the 'time' a female is on their menstual cycle, their 'Moon Time'. Which makes sense to me now, haha (People could never explain to me why this was before). First Nations People know alot about nature and natural occurances. You can learn alot from them. Hope this helped :)
