best guy friend
So, Ive been best friends with this guy for like 3 years now, and now we're off at college together. Anyway, I don't know whether or not he's gay. He has some tendencies that would suggest it and his facebook doesnt say "interested in". I love him to death and would no matter what. But I wish he would just tell me one way or the other. I don't think I should bring it up right? Does he feel like he can't trust me or that I wouldn't think of him in the same way? I want him to feel like he can tell me anything! What should i do?

I believe you shouldn't bring it up all of a sudden too but I think maybe you can drop some kind of hint. You may talk about this topic with him, see how he react or so. I've been doing that with a girl that most likely don't like me since we're not close. I have to say, it's frustrating but really all you can do is hope and wait. At least you have a bigger chance.

I agree that it is a difficult thing to bring up. I think you shouldn't ask, and just wait for when he's ready to bring it up.

I think you should leave things alone for now and see how things go. It really isn't the type of thing to bring up, he will bring it up when he feels ready -- it is very hard for many to come out, especially to their close friends/family. So please be patient with him and do not bring it up.

I'm in the same situation. I honestly think you shouldn't ask him. I mean its hard for someone to come out of the closet. I think he'll tell you when the time is right. :)
