sorry gift

Question Posted Sunday August 30 2009, 5:18 am

so me & my boyfriend have been dating for almost 7 months. well we got into a fight friday morning, he didnt talk to me all day friday then only two words to me saturday. so he posted some facebook status that made me mad so i texted him and finally got him to talk and he proceeded to tell me that he wanted to go on a break. we've been having problems but i didnt expect this. i know this isnt all my fault and mostly it's not. i have some faults like effort but he is very selfish and needy when i'm very independent. i want to get him a gift for our 7th month whether we're back together or not, showing him that i'm trying too. i live in pittsburgh and we've already gone to a pirate game and football tickets are just way tooo expensive. i need some fun/cute ideas to do but nothing too isolated because i dont want to end up talking about what has been bothering us. i just want a day with him where we're happy again. so many ideas of a cute date would be greatly appriciated! thanks. btw; he's 19 and i'm 17 so within age requirements lol

Hi :]

I agree with smile, I think the most important thing here is quality time not anything materialistic. If materialistic things is what makes your boyfriend happy, and not your love and affection, then there's a problem haha. I'd say, go on a date the whole day. Spend the day together from morning to night. Eat breakfast, then walk around maybe he likes to rollerblade or idk, just do something that interests him but can involve you too. Eat some lunch, go to a park, make some jokes, hug, kiss, you know? Lol bring the romance back. A lot of the time after months have passed, things get heated, arguments happen, and the best way to get rid of that is communicate. What;s bothering you and what;s bothering him? Let eachother know lightly, and talk it out.. Let him know that you love him, and I'm sure you wanna hear the same words back :D I hope everything works out and always remember everything in a relationship is 50/50 :]
