how to dye dark hair
i'll try and keep this short!:
natural hair color: super dark brown, almost black looking.
current hair color: medium dark brown.
i want a blondish-copperish hair color, do i bleach my hair first, then put the color in? i don't know how i'm supposed to go about this.

please use color but remember color does not lift color. go to a salon and get it done trust me its worth the money

Whatever you do, Seeing you are going dark to light, I would not do it yourself. More than likely you will need to bleach your hair first because you are looking for a blond copperish color and in order for it too come out looking like that you will need to lighten your hair if you try to dye your hair with it already being a dark color more than likely you will not get what you are looking for. However, If you have your hair bleached keep in mind that sometimes bleaching your hair tends it dry it out and it becomes frizzy or straw like. After you dye your hair I am going to recommend buying some Hair replacement shampoo which can be found at Sallys for no more than $8.00

Alright look. Do not just bleach your hair. First of all, its really not good for it. Second if your going from brown to blond i highly reccomend getting it done because going blond is really tricky and will look like shit if it isnt done right.
