Misdomeanor and Nursing

If you have a misdomeanor on your record can you get a nursing license in Oregon?

Your best bet is going to be calling the state nursing board and talk to someone who knows for sure.

It will depend a lot on what it was for and what you did to remedy it. Example: If it was for a DUI, or drug offense, did you go to rehab or something. If so, it may make a difference.

A lot of times it is going to depend on the individual. You will have to report any because they will check. You will have to be prepared to give great details about what happened.

Good luck. Call someone in state nursing board office. Tell them what info you are looking for and don't give up until you get someone who can give you the info you need.
