so, don't get me wrong about the subject.. it's just that there's this new program for high school is that starting in junior year, only a couple of high school students can attend an actual college... and finish their high school there and graduate with their high school diploma and associates degree. i'm one of those students that got in, and i'm sorta second thinking it. because, i know it's a good opportunity, but i really miss my old high school, especially since my friends are still there and my boyfriend. i'm the type of person who likes to take my classes step by step, because that's how i do really well in school. and in college, everything is so different, i get more freedom and all.. but then it's super hard, so much work to do and they expect so much from us. they made us join clubs and this and that, because it's mandatory. part of me wants to go back to my old high school, but all of the work i did so far in college would've been for nothing. help? what's your opinion in this? i only get a couple of days to think about it before withdrawing. and i haven't even withdrawn from my old school. so help me please!

I'm not trying to sound mean or anything but honestly, it's not like once all your friends go to their different colleges that you'll still be talking when you are 30 and have a family and stuff. And if you were still talking to them, then they'd be good enough friends to still keep in touch and hang out with during and after college. Also, it's pretty much you doing all this hard work now or later and since you've already started and done so much I think that in the end you feel much better staying. It prepares you for actual University and you will have an advantage over all the other college students in your class in the future. You will soon make new friends and things will get easier. Just coming from high school, it's a whole different world but you'll adjust and you'll be able to get a really good job. Hope I helped make your decision easier. :) I just moved schools and it's much more challenging and I miss my friends too except they are half way across the world so I know how you feel. Just keep you head up and keeping going! All your work will pay off! [ Isabel13's advice column | Ask Isabel13 A Question ]
