Ultrasound

Question Posted Tuesday August 18 2009, 9:42 pm

Hi!

So Im getting an ultrasound for my ovaries, and they told me to drink LOTS of water... But I was wondering... do I HAVE to drink water? Can't I drink juice or vitamin water?
Any suggestions other than water (if possible)?
Thanks for any help !

Call your doctors office and ask the nurse. It may not matter what you drink so long as you are drinking something. But call the office and ask. They will be more than happy to talk to you about it.

I really don't think you can. I didn't find any sites talking about anything but water!

My aunt recently got the same thing. She drank a lot of water. You can't eat either.

This link may help you though with how much of it to drink..

Good luck :) Hope I helped!
