cross & everything happens for a reason tattoo

Question Posted Tuesday August 18 2009, 1:10 am

19/female.

i want to get a cross tattoo on like the side of my stomach. but i also want it to say "everything happens for a reason"

it's more of a feminine looking cross.

i just don't know if that would make sense? a cross and everything happens for a reason?

i love the saying "everything happens for a reason" because it's the quote i live by every day. it's what i turn to when things go bad.

i just don't know how i'd even have it placed?

any suggestions?

i was thinking of a cross, the design being your choice, and then a banner thats below, or going across it saying "everything happens for a reason".

If i were to get this tattoo (strictly my opinion), i would get the saying in another language, for example, in latin its(get it confirmed before you do it though!):
"omnia causa fiunt"

hope i helped.

I like the quote! Hm, the cross? Well, actually, you can have the quote and then have the cross representing destiny? I don't know if that makes sense or not haha. But, I think it'd also be fine just having the quote! It's up to you though, I'm just giving suggestions.

How it could be placed with both the quote and cross?:
Well, you can have have the quote down first and then have the cross on top of it. Or! You can have the cross in the middle of the words. I know that doesn't make sense..but, I'll show you a picture of what I'm talking about:

You can also have it looking like this (except have it on the side of your stomach):

You can even move the place you want the tattoo. Like the ankle, back, hip, etc. Anything would look fine!

Hope I helped :) Good luck!
