Question Posted Tuesday August 18 2009, 1:02 am

19/female

i don't even know where to start. i've like this guy for probably 5 years now, he's also one of my best guy friends. he's had a girlfriend for three years now.

well i dont even know what to call her anymore. within the last year they've been on and off like no other. it's rather annoying because he will tell me there not together anymore which obviously makes me happy yet, she's always at his house pretty much every night?

he says there still close friends but its very annoying. he has four other brothers and sisters and so does she, and so sometimes she will bring her little brother and sister to hang out with his little brother and sister, gag.

i always bring it up, like ohhh sorry are you with your girlfriend? and he'll be like whose my girlfriend? and i'll be like maria and he'll be like oh no.

he tells me he doesnt have a girlfriend when i ask and i think he gets annoyed but how am i honestly suppose to believe there not together when there still together all the time?

i know he knows i'm jealous. and so i don't want to be obvious anymore but i just want to talk to him about it. but i don't even know what to say anymore.. or even just hint at it like a little comment

suggestions?

As he said, they're good friends. So, that doesn't mean he's dating her everytime she's over. You even said she brings her younger siblings over to play with his. It seems like it's just a strong friendship.

However, if he's on and off with her..obviously they have feelings for eachother. I know it's annoying, believe me, I've had this happen to me a lot. Guy's don't really realize when a girl likes them or anything..so, it's possible, he has no idea you like him!

How do you know he knows your jealous? Maybe he doesn't. Honestly, you probably won't ever know for sure if they're dating or not because they go on and off so much!

My advice; invite him over one day or go over his place (which ever) and tell him you want to talk. Tell him you like him! It's as simple as that. You can say something like "I'm not sure if you can tell..but, I sometimes get jealous that you hang out with your ex girlfriend a lot. I understand you guys are good friends and I think that's awesome. But, the reason I do get jealous is because..I like you a lot. But, sometimes I'm not even sure if you guys are dating and it makes it hard for me to ever think that you could have the same feelings for me that I do for you.." You can say that..or whatever else you want to add in there!

Just make sure you let him know that you like him! Hopefully, he's over his ex.

Good luck! :)
