year present?
my boyfriend and i's one year annivarsary is ina week and im not sure what to get him. i have $70 left to spend. i was thinking about getting him a guitar but i cant find a cheap yet good one. shud i get him that or somethin else? he does concerts and is amazing at many different instruments so i dont wana get him a beginners one. i also wanted to customize it, like write on it or draw since he loves my art but what shud i write? we really love eachother and he goes threw soo much for me just an example, i have had cancer and ben hospitalized so many times for bein psycho and it hurts him so bad as hes ben with me threw it all.. we're both 15 nearly 16

i'm sorry that this response is so late but i didn't see it til now. as a guy musician i would suggest not getting the guitar for him because that's kind of a guy thing, like girls like to buy their own bras. buy him a concert ticket for two. i love going to a good concert. guitar hero is also always fun. if you want to be really sentmental, buy him a build-a-bear. i go crazy for for build-a-bears. guys like stuffed animals just as much as girls.

guitars are usually pretttty expensive. i have a crappy one and it was $250. bongos are realll fun, and a great gift because you can paint them on the sides and stuff. and if you get the bongo set with two of them together you both can play them :) they have some cheap ukulele's out there as well which are cute, and if you get a plain one you can draw on it as well.
you should tell him how thankful and lucky you are to have had him be there through everythin with you and not givin up on you (in your own words of course). tell him how hes kept you goin through the best and worst. and of course that you love him (if yall have gotten to that point)

I think a guitar would be cool if that's what he really wants. But, if you're on a tight budget, I think you should just get him some small stuff instead of one big thing that might not be of the best quality, you know?
Or maybe you can start by making him a mix CD that has songs that remind you of him/his favorite songs/etc.
Then you can get him concert tickets to go with it. Or maybe instead of the tickets, you can get him a really plain picture frame with a picture of the two of you, and you can decorate the frame with song lyrics or something? :)
If you do go with the guitar, though, then you can write song lyrics on it. Maybe from his favorite songs, or cute love song lyrics. If you need love songs, let me know and I will totally hook you up ;)

Well a guitar is most likely out of the question.
Guitars are hundreds of dollars or more. Also if hes an amazing musician he would have a fairly decent guitar to begin with You don't have to get him something huge, or even anything that costs money. With 1 year anniversary's it is more about the time you have spent together and the sentimental value of what you give him more than the value.
.Maybe get him an accessory like maybe a guitar pick that would remind him of you when he used it.
Or
Maybe burn him cd's of some of his favorite music, or songs that remind him of you, and you could color or decorate the front of the cd to personalize it.
Or
Write him a letter explaining to him how strongly you feel toward him and how much it means to you that hes been there for you through thick and thin and how much you appreciate it.
Those are just some ideas, you could use any combination of them or none.
