im thinking about getting a perm but i don't know what kind i need to get, i want to make my hair look like these:

You can get a perm like that if you want one. It's all the rage nowadays. When my hair grows out I am going to get one. Any type of curl you want, you can get. The bigger curled perms are called "body wave perms"
Take these pictures with you to your hair stylist and tell them you want that kind of perm. Make sure the rollers he or she uses are big, if they are small you'll probably come back with a poodle perm. :)

Perms usually make fried, tight curls, much unlike the ones in those pictures. In the first picture it looks like she just put mousse in her hair and then scrunched it while blowdrying it. In the second picture it looks like she used a curling iron. Watch some videos on youtube of people curling their hair and you'll get the hang of it. You'd probably regret getting a perm.
